General conditions of online purchase at www.cartacarta.it

The following general conditions pertain to the online purchase of products and services at www.cartacarta.it acting through Sharon Crisafulli and with registered office at Piazzale Falcone-Borsellino n°26 – 47814 Bellaria Igea Marina, Rimini province, with VAT number 04379450408 N° Rea: 406729

Acceptance of general conditions of online purchase

All retail sales available online at CARTACARTA are aimed at private consumers. Orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours from the order being placed, except on weekends.

All parcels will contain a copy of the order and the sales receipt. Invoices will be produced only if so requested when the order is being placed. Invoices cannot be produced after an order has been placed. For all orders with invoices over €77.47 an additional €2.00 will be charged for the revenue stamp.

Changes to the general conditions

The general conditions can be modified at any point in time. Previous communication will be released ahead of important changes.

Consumer code

By legislative decree n.206 of 6th September 2005 on consumer code, CARTACARTA guarantees the release of correct information on the products available for online purchase. CARTACARTA welcomes recommendations on the content of the online store. CARTACARTA will not be responsible for consequences and damages resulting from improper use of the items for sale.

Right of withdrawal

By article 5 of legislative decree of 21st February 2014, the customer has a right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without having to give reason, and without incurring a fine, given the conditions explained below.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the client will have to communicate with Carta Carta within 14 days of receiving the order. The communication will have to be sent to the email address ordini@cartacarta.it specifying the order number and the articles to be returned.

Carta Carta will then communicate instructions on how to return the purchased items. All returns will have to be received by Carta Carta within 7 days once authorisation has been released.

The right of withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:

  • The items will have to be returned in their original state and package
  • Delivery costs of all returned items are to be paid by the customer
  • The customer is responsible for the items being shipped until they reach Carta Carta
  • Carta Carta will not be responsible for damages, losses and thefts occurred on items returned with uninsured shipments
  • Carta Carta will check the returned items for damages and signs of tampering that were not caused during transportation and will then arrange the refund to the customer via bank transfer or Paypal.

Privacy

All personal data requested upon purchase are used to satisfy client needs and will not under any circumstances be transferred to third parties. Carta Carta complies with privacy norms in the protection of personal data. By virtue of EU Regulation 2016/679, Carta Carta will send marketing emails only to the customers who has so agreed upon registration on the website by ticking the “Newsletter” box.

ON PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA BY VIRTUE OF EU REGULATION 2016/679

In compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679, CARTACARTA, owned by Sharon Crisafulli, will use personal data supplied by customers in the respect of the rights, fundamental freedoms and dignity of all people, with importance being placed on privacy, all in compliance with norms protecting the use and processing of personal data.

Payment method

Payment can be made via:

Credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and Paypal. The website will automatically load the page for online payment under “securecode”

Bank transfer. Refer to the order number and name and surname in the reason for payment. The bank account name is: Carta Carta di Sharon Crisafulli

Delivery

All orders will be delivered with courier Bartolini BRT and DPD. A confirmation email with information on delivery will be sent by the courier. All orders will be dispatched within 24 to 48 hours after the order has been placed, except on weekends.
